About Me
Hailing from upstate New York, Augusta Bargeron has spent her life playing and studying music. With 20 years' experience on her instrument, Augusta plays a wide variety of solo music from the baroque and classical to contemporary works by Gary Schocker. Augusta has a colorful, vibrant sound which conveys her passion for the music.
Augusta has learned from many great players such as Gary Schocker, Trudy Kane, Julie Martyn Donato, and Judith Mendenhall. In addition to performing, Augusta also enjoys teaching private lessons in her studio in Albany, NY.

PRIVATE FLUTE INSTRUCTION
Augusta is a passionate teacher who helps her students to develop their highest potential through individualized lessons. Augusta teaches beginner through advanced-level students, and teaches every age group. She takes a patient, yet structured approach to lessons that guides the student to their highest playing level. Augusta works with the student to to develop their individual sound and helps them to enjoy making beautiful music.
MUSIC THEORYÂ TUTOR
Augusta has received high marks in her Music Theory instruction and offers lessons and tutoring in this area. She tutors Beginner, AP-level, and Undergraduate-level Music Theory.
PERFORMANCE
